Spencer decided to have a daddy/daughter date with Bay. He told her they could do anything she wanted, so she chose "campfiring." We are not sure where she came up with the wording for it but basically she wanted to go camping and roast hot dogs. We tried to find our 2 man tent but can't find it anywhere so they slept in a little kids tent given to SWBy for Christmas. Half of Spencer's body fit in the tent. His legs are up and bent in the picture above. They slept in our family room because it was way too chilly to sleep outside! Spencer didn't sleep well but they had a great time, Bay especially. Apparently, when they were shopping for the hot dogs Bay couldn't wait or help herself and bit into the package of hot dogs in the store.
They tried to roast the hot dogs on the grill but it was too windy and the wind kept blowing out the flame so they ended up cooking the hot dogs stove-top. They also bought marshmallows and chocolate bars but ended up eating them plain instead of making s'mores.

This last weekend we were able to go to Brian Head to my Aunt's cabin. The cabin is really nice and we had such a fun time. Thanks to my aunt and her husband we went tubing at a little tubing park by their cabin. It was a lot of fun. I have to say I was not as daring as the rest in our party, but had a good time.
Bay went down the hill once and then was a little nervous to go again, but after tubing down a very small hill she decided she wanted to try the big hill again. And she went again, and again, and again. The picture above was taken after her last run. She was all tuckered out!
You can barely see Bailey but she is the one in the lane farthest left (obviously she's not the big person next to her lane!) where her tube is touching the other black tubes. This is the bottom of the tubing hill and you are supposed to slow yourself before your tube bumps up against the black tubes. Obviously Bay couldn't slow her tube and ended up going so fast she went straight up the hill and bumped into the black tubes a couple of times.
Here she is-what a trooper! She was so fun to take tubing and I'm so glad she got over her bit of nervousness!
Above is Bay and her cousin Bryson. He along with my mom and brothers got to the cabin a few days before us and I think he was so glad to have a little friend to play with when we finally arrived. Bay had a fun time with him too.
